July 7, 1971 - March 1, 2022
A LIFE TO BE REMEMBERED Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints ~ Psalm 116:15 Elizabeth Abiola Bayere was known to be a loving, caring, selfless, committed, and dedicated Christian who served and walked with God with passionate heart. Her passing grieves our hearts but transitioned her to the eternal rest and glory of the LORD her redeemer. ROOT: Elizabeth Abiola Bayere was born July 07th, 1971 to the family of Mr. Ehinmero Joshua Omonijo and Mrs. Omoloma Julianah Omonijo in Okitipupa, Nigeria. CONVERSION, COMMITMENT AND MARRIAGE: Elizabeth gave her life to Christ on one of her birthdays when a soulwinner asked her “if you were to die today, where would you spend eternity?” She served the Lord fervently in multiple capacities at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria before she got married on May 26, 2001. She joined her husband and served the Lord faithfully at the Deeper Life Bible Church in Nigeria and in the United States at the Minnesota and Florida locations of the church until her passing to glory. Among other roles and functions, she worked in the children section of church to nurture the little ones in the things of the Lord. EDUCATION & CAREER: Elizabeth Bayere obtained her Associate and Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing from the Miami Dade College, and her Master’s in nursing from the Florida Atlantic University. She was a registered nurse and worked with the VA Medical Center as Assistant Manager until her passing TRIBUTES TO A LIFE TO BE CELEBRATED I have no sufficient words to describe the invaluable worths of my precious wife to me. She was more than a wife – she was my sister, my friend, my partner, and much more! “Precious, our love for each other is indescribable. For a little short of 21 years, we shared our lives together – in pains and pleasures, in struggles and successes, in labor and love, and above it all, in the joy of the LORD our redeemer. You left me in the world too soon than we planned, but I yield to the will of our Savior who called you home to begin your eternal rest earlier than we expected. You are in better hands and better place. My Dear, you are a winner – you lived for God in the world and left the world of vanities to be with God in His glory. I will forever miss you until I see you again at the feet of the LORD. You kept the faith to the end, and by the grace of God, I promise I will keep the faith to the end, so I can enter the eternal rest you are now enjoying. I love you, and I know you loved me and our LORD until your last breath. Rest in perfect peace, and I will see you in glory when my race here is done according to the perfect plan and purpose of the LORD.” - Michael O. Bayere (Husband) My sister, my friend, our lives have been brought together for a reason and for that I am grateful. My dearest gift from God was when He made you, my sister. I love and I am always amazed by your infectious and gentle smiles. We have loved and cried and found a bond that is everlasting. Thank you for being a role model. I am grateful for your wisdom, friendship, strength, and hope you shared with me. Continue to rest at the feet of your Creator and Savior. - Dare Omonijo (Brother, London) Beloved daughter and sister in Christ - Elizabeth, it aches my heart to truly know that you are no more with us here on this side of eternity. You were brave, hardworking, and God-loving. You were a keen lover of Deeper Life Bible Church. Only heaven will understand why you had to leave us so suddenly. We surely will miss your smile, ingenuity, and devotion. Good night. - Pastor Michael A. Dada (Regions Overseer, DLBC)
