Joseph Eudovique was born on June 14,1933, to Therese Eudovique, in Castries, on the island of St. Lucia. He was the baby of 7 when his mother relocated to French Guyana, now known as Cayenne. He was raised by his grandparents and began working at a very early age.
At 20 years of age, he gave his life to Christ and married Sheila Caton, who bore him a quiver of children. He worked tirelessly in the ministry for over 60 years until retiring and later moving to St. Croix, USVI. He lived to the ripe age of 93 and was healthy, strong, and independent until his passing.
Joseph was proceeded in death by his wife, Sheila Eudovique, and his daughters Naomi, Judith and Lois Eudovique. He leaves to mourn his absence his 98 year old sister, Josephine Ludovique; 4 daughters - Lydia, Miriam, Eudora, and Julia Eudovique; 3 Sons - Samuel, Reuben, and Jonathan Eudovique; 32 grandchildren - Claudia Leandre, Sharon Alexander, Sherlene Salmon, Marvin Alexander, Marva Belton, Delvin Alexander; Rolda Serieux, Lorna Lawson, Elton John, Derrick John, Kevin John, Olivia Robertson; Tyrone Duncan Jr, Adrianna (Amanda) Duncan, Julien Duncan, Michael Duncan, Jah'Ani Johnson; Samuel Eudovique Jr, Samantha Eudovique, Samica Eudovique, Nicole Madden; Jeremy Eudovique, Geanette Mitchell, Cherina Eudovique, Ariel Eudovique, Leilani Eudovique; Jacquiva Mangual, Josline Poindexter; Jonisha Eudovique, Ja'Keria Adams, Sha'Kiyah Ervin; and Hakeem Neil; 64 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, and brethren, too numerous to mention.
He was well-known and respected throughout the Church of God 7th Day community as a man of integrity and honor. His legacy will continue to live on through his progeny (103 descendants). Rest well, Bishop, Daddy!
