In Loving Memory of Gary Saint Louis
January 19, 1985 – October 19, 2025
Gary Saint Louis, 40, of North Miami, Florida, completed his earthly journey on October 19, 2025. Born on January 19, 1985, in Miami, Florida, Gary was the beloved son of the late Solitesse and Innocia St. Louis.
As a proud Marine, Gary faithfully served his country with courage and discipline, embodying the honor and strength that defined his life. After completing four years of service in the United States Marine Corps, he lived civilian life with the same boldness—fearlessly, compassionately, and authentically.
Gary was a man of deep reflection, love, and laughter. A free spirit, he walked through life with curiosity and conviction. He found peace in reflection, exploring faith through Buddhism, and wisdom through books like The Art of War. He loved great debates on religion and politics—whether he was challenging ideas, sharing insights, or simply laughing over one of his many inside jokes with his siblings.
Above all, Gary was a loving father to his beloved son, Caleb McKenna. He found purpose and joy as Caleb's father, and his joy overflowed when he spoke of him. Gary's heart was enormous—he gave selflessly, often putting the needs of others above his own. His humor, generosity, and authenticity made him unforgettable to everyone who crossed his path.
His family will forever cherish the laughter he brought—remembering the special nicknames he affectionately gave to Ava, his "little Big Back." To Taylor, his "Chi Chi." To Max, his "Dada." He and Max would argue when he called "Dada" in public, and he would quickly apologize, saying, "Come on, fool, my bad." Moments that now echo as precious memories.
Gary leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and courage in the hearts of his siblings.
Gary is survived by his beloved son, Caleb Jeremiah McKenna, and his mom, Jennifer McKenna, his loving siblings and in-laws, Dr. Aliette and Michelange St. Hilaire, Kerlaine St. Louis, Solitude Payne, Cindy and Adamski Paul, Judith and George Spicer IV, Babinski and Karen Andre, Max Paul and Alexandra St. Louis, Alan Charles, and best friend Johnny Pierre Louis. A host of nephews and nieces, Michael, Chris (Angela), Andrew, Jonathan, Matthew, Taylor, Ethan, Loghan, Gabriel, Kayla, Brandon, Adam, Hannah, Luke, Leslie, Carlito, Andrelina, Jacob, Ava, and Jaylan. Uncles: St. Louis Georges and family, Dieusel and family, Tercius and family. Cousins: Echel and family, Darline and family, Sonia and family, Politesse and family.
And many more family and friends who loved him dearly and will forever carry his legacy of love, courage, and humor.
Gary often reminded those around him:
"Money is a means to an end… not something to be cherished or coveted.
A tool to be used, but you can't take it with you." — Gary Saint Louis
His words live on as a reflection of how he lived—freely, meaningfully, and with a heart anchored in love.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his life continue to inspire all who knew him to live with purpose, humor, and compassion.
