Herbert "Bob" Martell Taylor

Herbert Martell Taylor died peacefully on October 15th at his home in Plantation, Florida. He was known to his many friends and family members as Bob, Juni, Taylor, Uncle Bob, or BT.

Bob was a lifelong musician and gardener. He was talented in building, mechanics, creating and repurposing. He would always stop to help someone figure things out.

Bob is survived by his companion of 49 years, Marcia Smiltneek; his daughters Stefanie (Joe Chambers), and Rachel Taylor (Charlie Leggate); his grandchildren Owen, Olivia and Beatrix; his siblings Mel, Sandra, Sharon, and Steve; and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Leila (De Lisser); his father Irrick Taylor; and his siblings Roy, Keith, Robert, and Diane. He was very loved.
