Paul Salathiel Dorsey, 75, of Miami, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Paul is survived by Sumruoy Trirat; and he has 5 children, William (Panaada)Dorsey, Julie (Keith)Yarborough, Paul Dorsey Jr., Petrina (Eric)Moore, and Miriam (Bryan)Henry; his 13 grandchildren, Princess, LaQuanna, Salathiel, Johnnie 5, D'Angelo, Kenneth III, Enaha', Jordan, Kayden, Bryce, Bry'Ann, Layla, and Ja'Ce; and his brother, James Dorsey Jr.
Paul was born March 7, 1947 in Miami, Florida to James Dorsey and Amy Jackson. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1963. He attended Miami Dade Community College. He enlisted to the United States Air Force to serve our country. He was awarded many certificates; Compulsory Driver Training, Digital Techniques, and Aircraft Radio Maintenance Technician with the Air Training Command to name a few within the United States Air Force. He retired and was honorably discharged as a Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force and later became employed by the United States Postal Service as a Maintenance Mechanic
Paul's father, James, remarried, Jensie Dorsey, who is affectionately known as "mom" and they had 5 sons and 3 daughters. He is remembered by his best friend, Harry "Doc" Slaton, and a host of extended family members and close friends.
Paul was a man of great simplicity. He adored his children and was a great provider. He motivated his children to be the great individuals they have become today. He enjoyed driving around looking at new homes. He also enjoyed working on projects that required using his hands, like building electronics and auto mechanics. Paul will be deeply missed and will always be in our hearts!
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 @ 10am at Abundant Life Deliverance Ministries Center, 100 South Douglas Road, Pembroke Pines Florida 33023. After the memorial service, burial will be @ 2pm at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449
