Jason was a loving father to his daughter, Taina Cummings, and a cherished figure in the lives of his bonus children, Charrissa Richardson and Luiz Diaz. He was also a beloved brother to Elissa, Miguel, and Lee James, along with Wade, Donna, Karen, Romona, Randy, and Ralph Jr., and a steadfast friend to many.
Born in Trinidad, Jason moved to the United States at the age of 13.
At 19, he courageously joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served with distinction as the Marine Scout Platoon leader. He fought during times of war and played an instrumental role in the success of his platoon, serving with bravery and selflessness.
Jason completed his military service with the rank of Sergeant. Jason's legacy of service and leadership extends beyond his military achievements. He was a man of honor and integrity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His family and friends will remember him for his great strength, dedication, and loving spirit.
