Jason Canton Ray Cowan, 36, departed this world to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Jason was born and raised in Pensacola, FL, but was currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He left us on July 18, 2014 at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Jason was born on January 27, 1978 in Pensacola, FL to his loving parents Leslie Burroughs and Dennis Cannon. Jason has one brother and three sisters, Nathan, Heather, Erin, and Meghan. He was attending Atlantic Technological College and was in the internship process of his HVAC degree. Jason enjoyed many fields of work, but among his favorites was his first job at Movie Gallery that nourished his love of movies. Jason was a joyful soul who would energize any room he walked into. He was self-motivated and had the ability to teach himself anything. Jason's heart was full of love and he would literally give you the shirt off of his back. He loved the lord Jesus Christ, his family, his church, and his many friends. Jason loved music and the journey that came along with it. His radiant smile will be missed by many. Jason is survived by his wife, Liliana, his parents, Leslie, Joe, Eldon, Sue, and Dennis, his grandfather, Eldon, his brother Nathan, his sisters Heather, Erin, and Meghan, and many extended family that he loved dearly. We will be celebrating Jason's life and transition to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Bayview Park in Pensacola, FL with a pot-luck dinner, music, and fun it the park to follow.
