Mrs. Karlene Marie Manley Santarone was born on October 15, 1939, in Jackson, Michigan. She moved to Miami Florida in 1942 where she attended Miami Jackson High School and graduated in 1957. On June 21,1960 Karlene married the love of her life, John Joseph Santarone, and proceed to have five sons; Samuel Ray, John Randall, John Martin "Marty" Anthony Edward and Ronald Scott.

Karlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Karlene was one of the most caring, loving, supportive and generous people who always made everyone feel welcome in her home.

Karlene lost her battle with cancer and passed peacefully on January 1, 2015, where she was surrounded by loved ones.

Left to cherish her memories: sister: Constance L. Merwine, sons: Samuel Ray Santarone, John Randall Santarone, John Martin "Marty" Santarone and wife Maria Helena Santarone, Ronald Scott Santarone, grandchildren: Danielle Helena Santarone, Jenny "Ben" Nicole Santarone, great grandchild: Jacob Anthony.
