Obituary

Monique McCorvey
AKA: Monique Moree

You left your homeland of France, after your marriage to an American Air Force Servicemen James E. Moree, to begin your new life and start a family at a young age.  After moving cross country a number of times you ended up in Miami. Though the marriage didn't stand the test of time, you and dad gave us the best.  You both never stopped working, to be sure your children had all you could ever have dreamed of, as a child.

You met your husband, Bruce McCorvey, of course, at work.  when he saw you he said he was going to marry that woman, and he did.  At the age of 27 years old, having never been married, Bruce married his wife Monique with 2 teenage children.  Was not an easy task but he never left us behind.  We were his kids as much as we were hers.  Until his sudden passing in 2011.

You have always been a fighter.  You battled breast cancer 3 times.  After your mastectomy, 3rd battle, your remission ended and you began battle #4.  This time metastatic breast cancer.  You fought along with your oxygen dependence and worked up until 2015.  You fought the good fight.  One might call you a HERO, I know I do.

You are the strongest person so many know and you should hold pride in all you've accomplished. Married for 33 years until Bruce suddenly passed in 2011. Raised 2 children who adore you and never stopped fighting and working when you could.

R.I.P. Finally,
Your fight is over,
You win!
God Bless you Monique (mom)
