Ocean Yohannes Emru Campbell was a sweet, loving soul. Brilliant, funny, and kind. Ocean was quiet, philosophical and thoughtful; still waters run deep. He enjoyed having conversations of a spiritual and enlightened nature. He was always observing and would surprise sometimes with wise and profound words out of the blue. His faith in God was unwavering. In his short life he faced tremendous challenges and adversity and handled them all with incredible composure and grace.

There are no words to explain the beauty of his spirit. He was dearly loved by all who knew him. Born of Jamaican and Egyptian parents, he leaves behind his father Najeeb Campbell, his mother, Omnia Masoud, and his three sisters Kandace, Trinity, and Leala Campbell. Wolde Selassie, his Ethiopian Christian name meaning Son of the Holy Trinity, is now in the Glory of God's presence. God rest his Precious Soul.
