In Loving Memory of Reginald Herbert Jackson Jr.
November 23, 1970 - September 16, 2026
It is with deep respect and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a man who was defined not just by one title, but by the many lives he touched and the different roles he played. He was a beloved husband, proud father, son, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a loyal friend, leaving behind a legacy as rich as the life he led. As a proud U.S. Navy veteran, he served his country with honor and discipline.
In his community, he was a familiar face and a master barber, but he did much more than just cut hair—he was someone people could talk to, a keeper of stories, and a source of wisdom. His passion for helping others reached the sidelines and the streets, where he was a dedicated coach and mentor. For him, sports and mentoring were ways to teach character, resilience, and the importance of hard work.
He was a man who stood by his principles and spoke his truth, never swayed by what others thought. His presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and he never hesitated to say exactly what was on his mind. His legacy lives on through his family, friends, and the community, and the void he leaves behind shows just how much his life mattered. We honor him by carrying his spirit forward and making sure his light keeps shining through love.
God saw I was getting weary,
So He did what He knew best
He came and stood beside me,
And whispered, "Come and rest."
